Has anybody re covered the the original seat. Need to know if the cover is glued to the sponge or separate. Wanting to fit a louimoto cover and don't know whether to go over standard cover or remove and fit new.
Just fitted my louimoto seat cover, stapled over the original with elec stapler 6 mm staples.

Not sure about how grippy as only fitted it on Tuesday, and as there is snow on the ground she's stopin in the garage till summer.
As for renting the stapler. Most small hire shops do them. But you would have to buy a box of staples. Try HSS.
