Looking for rubber !!

T passed MOT today (yippee) but eagle eye noticed the manifold intake flanges (Aprilia description not mine !!) appear to be perished.

Have started to look for replacements online just now and.....

WTF !!!!! is it with the prices for these ????

It's 2 small, shaped rubber bits. £50-60 each. A 3rd of 2015 must have flown by without me noticing and it is April 1st already !!

What are the options please ?? I reckon some black silicone sealant seems to be the order of the day.

I think I have some gen 1 intake rubbers if that's what your after, also throttle cable if needed. I'll have a look tomorrow

Tried Google, only thing was a piece on AF1 from a guy in Finland who mentioned Can-Am for €33 instead of Aprilia part for €162 !!

I seem to remember Roy having the same problem with the rubbers on his bike. They looked bad but were actually ok,so he left them alone.

ive allways had close inspection of inside of the rubber manifolds if there's no
cracks or splits showing on iside then their probably ok, if they're leaking it would possibley make bike run rough as sucking in air

Thanks for your replies.

Will check condition when I get a chance, although bike seemed ok when going to test centre.

Will see if it's just external.
