2014 Sidestand

Hello all,
Has the side stand issue been sorted out by Aprilia on the 2014 european models or is the same short side stand still fitted? also, I see a few companies advertising slip on end cans that do not require new ecu's, has anyone just fitted on a new exhaust without a new ecu, or is it just advertising ********.

Side stand I aint a clue pal, I run an austin racing gp2r, all the baffles and db killer removed and it runs absolutely fine, will I be buying a race ecu? Nope. Just ride and smile
 
Ive changed the stand on my 2012 one, guess its down to if your happy with it, Im much happier with the US one though. I just bought a slip on and ran that with no problems

Im on a 14 V4 and yes ive changed the stand for a US one , standard one was just ***** , wots wrong with the buggers as im on my 3rd Tuono and changed the stand on all of em !!
Running a Mivv gp with standard ecu and its fine , have the baffle in as its too loud without but its all fine

Yes I changed my stand for the U.S. one. Purchased from af1 got stung with import duty
but worth it for piece of mind. I replaced my gen 1 and 2 Aprilia stands with Honda Fireblade ones.
I am also running a race can with no ecu change. Runs and sounds sweet,no baffle.

Thanks for your info, I have ordered new fireblade stand, 77 Quid with postage , going to run the bike as standard for a few months before modding, looking at the hp corse tail pipe as its a really nice design and one which I think suits the V4 very well
