exhaust opinion

I know the exhaust question comes up time and time again but let's face it, with this V4 the noise is important.

I was initially looking at the Austin Racing GP1 or the GPR slash cut because they're small and very loud but thinking more about it I don't think going quite so loud as the pair of SP Engineering cans on my V tuono were so loud I got headaches and I hate ear plugs.
I've been looking at the Akrapovic's but like the Austin they're really expensive. Also seen the oval SC Projects and was wondering what people thought of the SC's or if anyone had any and what they sounded like? Any other types people can recommend would be great as well.
This is the SC
SILENCER APRILIA TUONO V4

I was running a hp course exhaust, looks good and comes with 2 baffles to control the noise level :thumbup

I've got an austin racing gp2r
And it's suprising how quiet you can actually make them. They have 2 sleeves in the link pipe you can remove to make louder and also a db killer to really shut it up. I run mine with everything out and it's PROPER loud! Sounds awesome and the crack when use the Quickshifter is fantastic.
Am in co.durham if wanted to have a listen to it baffled up.

Co.Durham is pretty far from me but thanks for the offer.
The Austin Racing ones are nice, quite expensive though, twice the price of the SC's and three times the GPR. Are they really worth the extra?

I've never really seen the others close enough to compare fairly. The austin is a beautifully made exhaust, looks and sounds awesome, I wanted something a bit different and am very happy, would I buy one again? Hell yeah !!

i bought this gpr, i think it was £235, for the money spot on, comes with 2 noise reducers, 1 to fit each side of the can, i choose to run neither, it sounds good but i think its not too loud. its built nice and looks nice, the only downside is that i had to use a home made bracket on the strap hanger so that it reached the mounting point on the bike, but other than that its good.

i have the sp engineering motogp stubby...yep too dam loud .headaches but restrictive with db killer in and too quiet so i modified it slightly i.e. opened out the holes in end from say 5 mm to 8 mm and drilled a couple of hole in the short pipe that u don,t see in on db killer inside ...lovely sound and still gives full power
cheers

My SP cans made the bike run like a bag of **** with the db killers out, I had to have them in anyway because it was too much. Never got round to modifying them but if I hadn't had to sell the bike I would of made some baffles to sit in the link pipe, out of sight.

That's the sort of style I've been looking at, there's a few options out there and that one looks smart.

Im having the same dilemma here. Narrowed it down to GPR or SC (based on pricing and looks). Fortunately I have some time to decide cus winter in NY doesnt allow for many riding days an this peojwct will be a nice treat while I wait for spring.

Let me know what you've decided and feed back.

I think I'm swinging towards the SC just based on finish quality and also I've been told by an accomplished aprilia tuner that the really small GPR has a tendency to cause the valves to burn.
