Decided that it was about time that I gave my wee sexy Italian a butt lift by fitting an RSV4 tail section.

Couple of phone pics, will update once I've given her a good scrubbing.

I like, planning on doing this myself, just trying to source the yellow panels.

I was really lucky Robbie.

I was thinking of going matt black panels, but a guy from the Merican forum (UK based) emailed me to say he had a yellow kit....... the rest is history.

They have Motograffix number boards on them, but i'm not convinced that I'm going to keep them on yet.

I might order the front set to match and take it from there.

By the way.

Very easy switch over. Took me less than an hour from start to finish.

I think Ive found a set from Germany, just waiting for them to confirm said maybe 2-3 weeks. I did think about black but after seeing your pics I defo want yellow. Fits in with the riders seat.

The kits from Germany are spot on.

Everything you need and all OE Aprilia parts.

Thats good news, just the waiting game now. Have seen them for sale on af1 racing website but by the time you have paid postage and import costs, its roughly what you would pay from the stealers. The German ones are by for the cheapest Ive found.
Did bite the bullet and ordered a US spec sidestand from af1 though.

Some better pictures taken today of the tail conversion.

Also fitted BMW led indys on the rear. Got a pair to go on the front too.

Looking good, where did you get the indicators from? Only place I found them was from BMW and would cost £120 ish for the four

I got them from the same guy that I got the tail conversion from.

£50 for the set :thumbup

I do like a bargain :yes

That does look good. First time I've seen it on a fellow yellow machine. I've been a bit undecided on this one for a while I must admit.

No, don't carry pillion slayer. It ruins the fun.

Although i do have an RSV4 seat that i can put on just in case.

Lucky bugger, need to start stalking the forums more waiting for bargains or try and beat you to them atleast :lol

Looks good. I'm debating the tail conversion for my 2014 white V4 but I've not been able to locate a matte white tail. There's a couple of folk who have the gloss white but that'd look odd.

Have alook on af1 racing website, just bare inmind the import tax. or get the gloss and have it painted.

The problem is the tail conversions come in the RSV colours and not the Tuono.

Aye - I took a look at AF1 and they have a white kit but are clear that it's not a match for the matte white on the current Tuono. Could get it painted though, that's for sure but it all starts to add up :)
