Exhaust compromise sound/power delivery

I have just removed a very very loud Scorpion Titanium exhaust from my Gen 1 (will be up for sale soon)and have replaced it with an original "bazooka" i found on ebay. This is likely to be a short term measure as it feel like I have genuinely lost power. My issue is that my garage is about ten ft from my neighbors stables and the old can was upsetting his horses (my neighbor is a bit posh but that's not his horses fault!) I am need to buy a new can that opens the power delivery up a bit without causing too much noise pollution. I have been looking at Mivv exhausts does anyone have personal experience of this brand?

By the way people I have totally and utterly fallen in love with the T I cant think of another bike I have bonded with so completely and quickly - its fast comfy and in my mind handsome plus it goes round corners better than anything i have ever owned - why hasn't everyone got one!???

I think the mivv will also be a bit loud mate, have a look at the akra can not to loud but will give you a bit of power

Thanks for that Brooksy - looks like I might have to spend a bit more cash then ?

- all those lovely carbon trinkets will have to wait!!

for a cheaper alternative but still good quality and not too loud try Hawk, pipe werx or fuel cans mate

Thanks Brooksy- the cheapest i can find a Akra slip-on is £450 which will practically mean that I will spend the rest of the summer either going through a divorce or running a standard can!!

Try FUEL exhausts they sound good and give a power gain over standard with the baffle in

They sound even better and give more power without it in but that's no good to you

There quality is second to none and you can get a can and link pipe for less than £200 delivered

Big thanks to Big Ben!! £200 is definitely more in budget - time to do some online window shopping!

That's the carbon one on my bike worked out at £200 but they do different lengths and styles

Thats perfect - i would ideally like a carbon quill - is that the GP model?

mivv with db killer isn't that bad, more of a meaty sound than 'noise' fitted one to an rsv the other week, the guy was made up with it. he picked up a mint can and link pipe off ebay for £92:00

I agree. Fuel are underated but an excellent can. No need for name brands mate.

I run twin akras on a gen 2 - baffle out is a big diff overtaking performance than with baffles in... and when I have Wifelette on the back too never run standard cans...
