Tail bag/luggage

In truth it takes no more than ten seconds to open and close pack and twenty seconds or less to remove bag altogether. In fairness I do not know about the luggage system but do find Kriega stylish rugged convenient and practical

Kriega has earned the reputation as being the best. But do you have to remove the bag to open it up and unroll it to get stuff into it?

peerieivan . I have some oxford humpback sport panniers . when I fitted them, the shape of the rear body work on my gen 2 reduced the capacity as they wouldn't fit flush.
so I made some support brackets out of welded up steel bar , they work a treat and are not to intrusive looking . makes the bike look a right old fat arse tho ,

there are some pics on tuono world .com some where , in the what did you do with your bike section .

Hi Caveman, no you don't all you have to do is undo the two clasps at the top where it rolls over upon itself, stuff away until your hearts content then re roll the top part and snap the buckles shut. Even if when you parked up and wish to take the bag with you just four quick clicks and its off

Thanks for the pics. I may opt for the 10 instead of the 20. Looks simpler. can always back pack it on days I need to carry more. THe main thing is laptop and some gym clothes. Or getting some lunch while riding around and having to bring it back to the office. 10 looks like it would do it.

I'm going for a US30 I think,
I have the 35 rucksack and it's ace.
We're off to europe for a week, so need a bit of stuff.

I doubt I could get a laptop in my US20 let alone a 10??

I have an R25 that I use for gym kit and that is great, laptop in there no problem it even has a pocket for one.

I only use the US20 for weekends away, and as that pic above shows takes enough clothes rolled up for a weekend - along with a pair of jeans, shoes. The pocket on top plenty big enough for smellies/charger/toothbrush.

SO my first question is, what's a smellie? A Cigar perhaps? :)
So anything under the 30 will not be a substitute for the backpack? I have the same one and I get my laptop in that little pocket, and a change of clothes along with some paper work etc.

So then realistically the 10 would strictly be for picking up lunch and/or shoving a fee beers in it. Maybe a simple bungie net is really the answer.

I went with the ogio duffel tail bag. JUst straps under the seat and comes off easy. When expanded it holds my thinkpad, gym clothes and sneakers. Fits two sixpacks too :)

Thought I'd add a few photos of the Kriega US20 I tried on the bike tonight, seems to fit quite well, just a dry run so didn't fit the straps properly but you get the idea photo 1 is where I tried the straps, 2 is the straps sticking out under the seat (not very neatly but just a quick try) and 3-4 are it strapped down image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

Kriega has earned the reputation as being the best.

I have two Kriega bags, and a Kriega toolroll.

The toolroll I still use...but the bags are only OK -ish.....the Kriega packs are light years behind Ventura for ease of use...on AND off the bike in less than 20 seconds.
Rugged, and with security Kriega users can only dream of.
Once I'd seen them in use, checked out the quality and design, swapping to Ventura was a no brainer.
About 70% of us Euro-Hooners use Ventura.

Check out AF1...there are loads of testimonials.

Nice pics thanks, Even though I got the ogio for daily use I might get the Kriega for longer trips.
