Hi Fellow tuono lovers! Really glad I joined the forum. Been riding sports bikes for years, chopped in a gixxer thou for a sweet 12 k 2006 tuono after a run in with the boys in blue. Five points after a lot of "I'm very sorry your honour."
Any way, I'm here to find out more about my lovely bike, i'm having a couple of problems with it at the moment! Just had a new fuel filter fitted and it dynoed. It was running awful for a while. Not good on a track day :crazy Though the bike is mega on track, stand is a little worn out now:yes
Went out for a ride at the weekend and the speedo died, speed sensor has packed up! cleaned it, the nuts and checked the connection.
Cheapest I've seen is £90 fleabay, £100 dealer price.... gutted! Any suggestions? want to replace for new parts really. I've bought used parts on fleabay before and ended up regretting it.
I'm off to Andorra in June and wondering should I change the clutch slave seal UP20-28-4l. Just to prevent any problems in the heat, going to bleed it as the clutch fluid is very mucky looking.
Any other possible problems I should check or be aware of?
