We felt bad last week after we teased you with small, low-res photos of the new Aprilia Tuono V4, so we’re making it up to you this week. Italian magazine Motoclismo spotted the new Tuono lapping around Misano on what appears to be a track day event. If you have a halfway decent imagination, these pictures shouldn’t shock you. The new Tuono has many of the RSV4’s lines, and has little to no updates from our previous shots.

The bike appears to be a “base” version of the V4, which leads us to suspect a “factory” version could be in the works as well. We’d imagine that the dual-tiered Tuonos would be released at the same time the RSV4-R, is scheduled to be shown to the public. Thus making the entire V4 line have a base and factory option. We’ll know more at EICMA, where the bike is suspected to debut.

OK... I would have to think long and hard about trading the Tuono twin in for a V4 version. But... yes I probably will.

Looks nice to me,:thumbup:thumbup wonder if they'll uphold the tradition of misty clocks? :crazy

I'm thinking that I may have to have BOTH, as I really don't see me parting with my beloved Andiamo. Not sure that I wouldn't go for the RSV4 though and then have my lil 'T for funnin' and hoonin' around on.
And sweet mother of gawd, who designed the exhaust? That is TRULY fugly!!

Saw one at the offices in Noale, nissn. It is a truly gorgeous bike, and pictures do NOT do it justice. My wife had to drag me away from committing felony frottage.

Oh man if they've kept the engine power the same that's got to be a hell of a machine.

No way on this planet does a v4 ride like a v2.
Different thing. IMHO I don't think Tuono riders would like it.
Your all getting carried away by shiny stuff.
You love your T's.

At times i've enjoyed both IL4's and V-twin engines. If the bike was good enough i could get to like it.

However that said, 5 out of my last 6 bikes have been Twins. The other was a 660single

Made my point poorly. Glad you understood tho bud.
Point is we love the V2 vibe of the T. Rough and ready as to a smoother V4 ride.
Well I do.

That's what I said. And I agree with nobster as I LOVE my twin Tuono. The sound and the power delivery make me VERY happy. That being said, something about that RSV4 makes me want to do silly things.

Looks great, I've heard it's up 180bhp. Mind you that exhaust looks like a stap-on for a darlek.

I gots to admit that if I ever get to meet the dip that designed that exhaust, I'm going to bitchslap him into next week! You see the RSV4s in WSB and they look so sweet with that four into one collector... WTF?? Why couldn't they have made that stock?
