Hi all, I had a deposit on a new KTM 1290 Superduke R since the beginning of September last year, but something happened in November. I took a test ride on the 2014 Tuono V4R ABS. Simple as that!. I cancelled my KTM and bought the T. 2 of my mates collected their shiney new 14 plate KTMs sat and we went for a ride. Don't get me wrong they are awesome BUT not quite as awesome as the mighty T. I am happy with my choice and have attached a pic of my slightly modded T. Rob

I have ordered and am currently waiting on Ohlins forks and rear shock and I have a RSV rear end on order from the states, when these last few items arrive, my masterpiece will be complete!

Cracking bike! Love mine. Would be interested in the cost of the Rsv rear end. Reason for sourcing it from the states?
 
Welcome mate , you made the right choice .... same choice i made as i was also thinking about the superduke , mental aint it :D

I too am after the RSV4 tail conversion if anyone has one lying around"¦.:biggrin

Thanks Phoenix. Reason I have sourced the conversion from the states is couldn't find anyone who did them over here! A1 racing in Texas have shed loads of Bling Tuono parts! It worked out at £400 inc shipping. Rob

Aprilia dealer in Thirsk does the RSV tail conversions. Not sure on his prices though.

I'm interested to hear what difference the new tank makes on the 2014 bike, as probably the only weak feature on my 2013 Tuono is the range.

Hello Mikkel as I have never owned the earlier model I cannot compare on the fuel range but I am getting around 100 miles out of a tank. This is riding pretty hard in a group so you can imagine what goes on! Its averaging 27 mpg which is pants BUT I never bought a Tuono for economy I bought it for FUN!
