New Tuono V4 on its way!

Hi Chaps, I put a deposit on a new Tuono V4 ABS over the weekend and now I've just got the agonising wait until the 15th March when I will collect it! I've also taken the Aprilia Akro pipe that goes with it, just for the bling! I test rode one a few months ago and I don't think I've ever giggled to myself so much, the whole experience was pure madness. From the the noise to the acceleration, the handling, the whole bike was just a massive event to ride. After 3 years and 24000 miles on my beloved GSXR I will be sad to see it go though.

If anyone is around the Cambridge area give me a shout and once I've got the bike we shall ride!:thumbup

I am slightly concerned about something though and maybe you guys can tell me if this is a common problem with this bike... I have this incessant urge to buy things for it. I haven't even got it yet and I've already mentally spent £500 on bits for it!

yes its an addiction with Aprilia ownership of which there is no cure :banghead
 
Within 1 week of having mine there was a tail tidy on it and an exhaust bolted on ..... its an expensive disease :thumbup

I tend to spend too much on trackdays now , but really looking forward to getting the v4 on track this year .... more money !!!!!!
 
So this far I've been looking at:
R&G Tail Tidy
R&G Aero Crash Bungs
R&G Front axle protectors
R&G Swing Arm Protectors
TechSpec Tank Grips
ASV Levers

The bike already comes with the Aprilia Akra slip on exhaust and I need to check that they are going to do the race map at the same time. This should be enough to get me started I reckon.

Yup, got it on Saturday :) Thankfully it was good weather too so I've had an awesome few days on it. I can't get over how fast it feels, point to point the pace is outrageous. Not to mention the sound from the Akro. I love it so far! My mate is looking at an S1000R so we collected my bike and the first point of call was the BMW dealership nearby, had a quick look at that and I'm pretty convinced I've made the right decision :)
