Guys-hi,

I have got myself back into Tuono ownership after a 3 year break

I stupidly sold my absolutely mint 07/56 plate Gen 1 after new year 2008-didn't have a reason- i just did it

Even my wife told me that i shouldnt have sold it--is she always right????????not sure, naaahh she aint, but she was right about the Tuono

Anyway fast forward to earlier this week and i put an almost last second bid on a nice looking Gen 1 and surprise--I won it at a reasonable price

Collected it today from a great fella who will regret flogging it--like i did when i flogged mine

Anyway, its almost exactly the same as my previous T and i love it

I will around here for a while to come cos i aint sellin this one

Thats identical to mine, great choice! so what you doing next, solenoid, battery, drop the gearing 16/44, clean and lube EVERY electrical connector you find, grease every bolt you touch, K&N, extractor collector.........

Just some ideas.....

:cheers

Oh and right now go out and move the tax disc holder from the fork leg, it WILL start rubbing on the black part of the upright once you start using the beast.

Guys,

Just bin out on the T tonight and it feels much quicker than the standard Gen 1 that i owned previosuly, i just read the bunch of receipts and find that the sprockets were changed for 16/44

That explains a lot-it just loves to loft the front end

Great ride

Question-What's the clunk when the motor is turned off?

Thanks

Reecy

lol oh yes.....I reckon I got less than 100 miles out of a tank on Saturday.......dropping the gearing does mean you seem to go faster everywhere......
