got around to fitting the 15 t front sprocket that came with my '10 factory 1000r today. It was under the seat with the "fool kit"Feels like a new bike ,now I can ride slowly down my street without all that jerking around in the lower gears.

Hi, do you loose any top end or is it not worth thinking about, cos the low speed riding is so much better.

Yeah, when in slow traffic or in town, bike is never in right revs. How much and who sell em? Cheers Bay

16 / 44 will just about fit with the original chain, if your fitting new sprockets I would recommend a new chain anyway.
I'm not sure but is the front sprocket bolt L/H thread ?

Don't worry about top speed you won't hold onto the bars anyway.

just for fun,,here's a photo.peeled off the front white "number plate" off the fly screen and some other stickers and the charcoal can too.IMG_0721.jpg

What chain is best guys? I will do this mod at end of this seasons riding. Goin TT 2nd june for 7 nights, so upgrade budget low, although the trip and riding on the Island would be better with sprocket change, I'm sure...fD

I think you did mention that you're going to the TT,,,A dream of mine,Doing the Alpine tour next summer.Italy,France G.B. Switzerland.
