I used to love my old 04 Tuono which I traded for a CB1000R which was a big mistake. Ok bike, but pretty boring by comparison. Didnt keep that long then went to an R1 which was fun for a while.
The Jap bikes were easy to live with but I missed the Aprilia twin so I caned the credit card and bought a matt black r.
Now I remember what I had been missing and am trying to ride as much as possible to get over the 600 miles to open her up. Just looking at it brings a smile to my face.
Now roll on the better weather to get some miles under my belt.

good boy, you know it makes sense !!

I'll second that.

I test rode a CB1000R once for what seemed like a whole day. I was only on it for about 20 minutes....yaaaaaaawwwwwwnn! :unhappy:dozingoff:sleepy

That's a lovely looking T, Tony. My local dealer has got one black T left to sell, can't see it lasting long in the showroom.

I had a go on my mates new Fireblade - like you say, rides well but soooooo boring with no personality.

Cheers guys. The matt black really does it for me. Next thing to do is to check out flea bay for a set of Arrows or Akras.

Same as mine mate , the best colour ! much better than the usual jap crap :thumbup

tis nice shotgun, aint it a swine to keep clean though, the matt finish ??

Nice... Andiamo isn't as clean as Mr G's gal... but then I ride her harder, farther and more often... as for the matte... I just wipe her down with a clean dry cloth after her baths. Good enough. It's about the riding, not how you look... Feckin' poofters. And this summer I think yer going to have a ball! Enjoy. And lets see some pics of your adventures.

Good choice of bike there Tony, looks great,....and yours Gilo.:thumbup
