After coming back from buying my lid, washed the T as yesterday took it for it's re-MOT and it was pissing down. So nice & clean again:

The best bit of all though is that I am keeping the T now, was going to sell it end of this summer but missus wants to move house. So two conditions - keep the bike and buy a decent car, result :thumbup

Am that a Stealth with DD fastening?

I bought mine cos it was pretty and to match bike

Neverr again will I buy a lid with DD ... what's the fookin point when you can get seat-belt or micro fastener?

Also ...

Espaecially since fitting taller stock screen it whistles in the area of tose multi-coloured visor things

Don't make me move this to "pish product" as well!!!

Right.

More wine

I never liked the look of a Tuoldo a bit bitsa for me ... But then that colour , that shine, & Bay's new exhaust ! is it ok to come out now & say Gen 1's can look awesome!!! With age comes wisdom. Dont tell anyone I only bought the VTR100F cos at the time i could'nt afford a falco .Keep the bike STiX you will only regret it if it had to go.

Buying **** on ebay when pissed up - part of my life.

Double D lid fastening - disagree newelly, I've had a few lids with seatbelt-type fasteners and ******' hate them (well I exagerate, I don't like them) - sure they're quick and easy to fasten and release, but DD wins every time for adjustability and security.

DD = Double Diamond beer = Pish. DD = goodly sized baps = :biggrin. DD = helmet fastening = :thumbup

More wine indeed - chars

not quite sure i could let her go..

by the way.... DD all the way, safest fasteners yer can get.

oh yeh.... yer hoody,s ****.

No it's a seat belt style. Haven't used it yet hopefully will tomorrow.

Oh and the hoody is Fing choc - gen1 Tuono all the way :)

Garry - don't sell. Done it too many times with regrets. If it ain't broke don't fix it!

Tricky/Hector - it's going nowhere. Thanks. I was smiling under my helmet in the rain taking it for it's re-MOT!

Oh it's an AGV Stealth SV Naked.

I've got an AGV Stealth with the Saltire on it. A bit close on teh chin fer me but mint on the track. Only DD is legal here for lid security. I too prefer it for adjustability and comfort. Nice lid, laddy buck!

I had a shoei with seat belt and never adjusted it which is bad, i much prefer DD as i adjust it every time i put it on :) oh and definatly Arai all the way for my head shape.

I had an agv ti tech was awesome lid until the father in law dropped it from a great height onto concrete floor. Asked the wife if anyone had dropped it and he said yes to her then went on to deny it. Funny how it ended up in a different place than where I put it with scratched all over it and little bits of concrete embedded in the lacquer if no one had dropped it. Anyway went and got an arak condor as it was on offer and it'd a great lid. More comfortable but catches my throat a bit. The Agv done up nearer the chin. Ps stix u ain't allowed out on any ride outs for owning thAt hoody top. What were u thinking

I wasn't thinking I was pissed! Don't worry it won't be worn out on the bike.

My father in law is also a collossal fud-meister.

He keeps "doing little jobs" for mwe arouds the house and it always turns to rat ****.

Examples

1) Resealed round my bath ... looks like he used a fecking trowwl to put it in ... all lumpy and jaggy ... like a ******* royal iced cake
2) Changed the thermo-stat bitty of my en-suite shower. Which didn't need changing - just that he'd turned off the hot water to fix (**** up) something else and forgot to turn it back on. I discovered him standing in the shower (fully clothed mind you) looking perplexedly at the dis-assembled guts of what had been a perfectly good bit of kit. He hadn't waited to drain the tank properly and water was flowing nicely out of the open ended tails in the wall. "Frank?" I asked "Where do you think all that water might be going?"

"I'm not sure" he replied with a raised eyebrow,

"I am ... it's all pissing throught the kitchen ceiling"

He is now banned from any form of plumbing in my home.

So ,,,, father in law also consigned to "pish products"

Had the auld shoei XR900 wi the seat belt style, wiz awe right at first but once it got worn a bitty the "click" home never felt 100% positive an the webbin sort o set in position so was hard to adjust, like if wearin a neck warmer or not. It was also affy awkward tae loosen. Noo got the newer XR1100 wi the DD rings and is spot oan as ye automatically adjust it right every time we bit it oan. An its a breeze tae loosen strap aff as well.

newelly, sorry aboot yer faither in law but that wee tale wis brill.:lol:lol:lol

STix, nice bike and the colours on yer lid are spot on.:thumbup
