Rear Tyre Issues - track bike - seeking advice

Hi, had my first day out ever on my 2000 RSV Mille track bike at Snetterton yesterday. Overall I'm very happy but I have a problem with the rear.
The bike has a 2001 swing arm, ohlins rear and a 520 chain conversion, this is how I bought it. I've had the suspension serviced and resprung for my weight.
The rear tyre is a Pirella Diablo Supercorsa 180/60 that had apparently only done one track day but looked pretty shagged, however nothing like when I'd finished with it yesterday.
Despite the narrow chain I was concerned about how close it ran to the tyre. I checked the wheel alignment and it seemed a bit out so final adjustment was half a mark out on the swing arm and moved the tyre away from the chain a little so I left it at that.

The tyre has been touching the chain and taking lumps out of it, the tyre didn't have these marks before. The bike looks like it has been down on its right side in its previous life but how hard? See marks on the frame from the old gear lever.

The swingarm looks pretty meaty and not something that would bend easily but does this happen? I've been told that the tyre profile is wrong and should be a 55 however there are people on here running 60 profiles.
So am I looking at the wrong tyre, frame/swingarm damage or both???
I also ran the tyre at 28psi after consulting the web but had lots of what looked like cold tear due to over inflation.

Any words of wisdom gratefully received.

IMO tyre is touching chain on left stick a 180/55 on it should sort that, 60 too wide. The right side looks like stert of a cold tear, what pressures were you running looks like they were over inflated, drop two or three psi next time for similar air temp, may well clean up tyre then. Only my two pennith :)
