Hi all,

Picking this up next week, can't wait! Been a GSXR junkie for years but have had a few twins - 2 SP1s, Firestorm, Ducati 996 - then this came along at a price not to be missed! Anything I need to look out for? It's had a clutch mod already I believe. The cans are going in the bin as fast as I can get them off!!! I assume Akras are the way to go?

Nice I've is it the Colin Edwards rep. Im picking mine up next week almost exactly the same except for the pipes mine are standard Aprillia. What make are those pipes.
 
I'd like to know what make those pipes are, as I'm pretty sure mine has got the same on, and had Akro stickers slapped on them. I think they sound pretty nice though IMO

They are now in the bin! They are Chinese rubbish called Danmoto. PB did a review of them a few years ago. Fine fir power but no silencing effect at all.
 
Mivvs on mine and they sound awesome :)
I had never heard of them before, are they decent tins?

I personally think they sound alright. The mivvs are definitely better quality, and sound better IMO. But the previous owner had these on, and until I get some free cash they're staying on. They are loud, but I prefer them like that. And if I had the Mivv GP cans, I wouldn't have the baffles in!
 
I've just got some Delkeviks oval cans for mine as standard cans were so quiet. I think for the money they're great. Sound awesome with baffle out.

I have a Colin Edwards 2003 model ,I live in South Africa and dont know how many bikes are here ( I heard there is only 3 in south africa )
Can anyone help me I want to no what number of 461 world wide produced my bike is my VIN number ends with 262 can this be it
