Hi Guys
Bought rsv 2000 mille with my son had few problems starting it, turns out starter solenoid. Added a new battery but go down the road alls well soon as we come back up the hill stutter and wants to shut down arrrgh why are these bikes full of faults.
Any suggestions appreciated.

not all of them are to be fair, have you tried the diagnostic wires to see if any faults are showing?
Give Aprilia Performance in Tamworth a call I'm sure they can help you
 
Hi sorted problem but now got petrol peeing out the overflow and cant stop it :exclamation
 
I will borrow this thread just a bit.


My rev stuck between both leds. When off, its sitting ob max led instead of oil led. What to do?
 
It looks to me like u have pressed one of the buttons on the front that sets the rev light on .. check your manual. You can set how many revs there are untill the light shows to change gear. Im thinking you have done this by accident
 
I didnt press any buttons, I just disconnected battery. Anyway, I removed cover from the spedo and push it trough the led. Works perfectly now :)
 
One more question. I know there is a problem with brown connector on gen2, but here is mine from gen1:

Is that a problem? Should I remove it and weld it together?

There is a wiring mod on these forums where u cut that out. I done the mod on my bike and its never been better
