Original top box cut out with car boot seal to stop any **** getting in, cheap as chips £5.

Make sure you have removed the foam from under the tank...if that drops into the stacks!!!,

I can see how to do this but!!!!!

How is the filter effective? Surely the air can just get straight into the intakes from around the tank?? Or am I missing something

yep the seal against the tank is the key then the larger area above is now a bigger airbox...basically the idea behind aprilia's own world superbike evo airbox on troy corsers bike then you can fit these
