just seen this posted on af1 not sure about the looks of it:dunno but the guy swears by it for protection ..

what say you ????

imho fella that looks absolutely sheeite! Perfect way to ruin the lines of a great looking bike...whats next, apes sporting bmw gs style full on crash bars?! Il take my chances with bungs.

erm yeah am totally with you pal but hey we is all different i guess . the guy is a young bloke and the insurance is mad money so i guess he cant be to choosy .. also he is state side and i bet panels etc over there are crazy money ?

If it were a proper cage for stunting, that'd be fine :thumbup

But it's not, it looks like it'd do a fair bit of damage to the bike when it gets crushed into the fairings. Should've just got some crash bungs. Or stabilisers :biggrin

Agree they look *****. But if you were just using them for trackdays, i recon it would be cheaper and easier to fit than a full track fairing. Obviously depending on how well they work over regular crash bungs.

I don't see why you're giving him a hard time?

If this guy is put on his bike all the time giving it some serious stick then he should be applauded for thinking about pukka crash protection.

I remember doing a track day a week after I broke up with my girlfriend and I was riding out of my skin, just didn't care what happened.

Fast forward to now and I can never push that hard anymore in case i fall off and ruin the bike. If those (admittedly ugly) bars let the guy ride faster with less stress, then more power to him!

thats daft, it wont save forks, swingarm or wheels the way crash bungs do, I know I have crashed twice on a full carbon mille
