Good afternoon folks. Collect my 2015 Caponord Travel Pack in white on 9th December.

Been on Jap bikes for some years and traded a 2014 V Strom in for it. Looking forward to getting to know the Italian temperament and character.

No doubt I will have a bundle of questions to ask you all, hence joining. My first one is: is there a dedicated switched 12 volt feed connector for a satnav? I have a TomTom Rider to install from the V Strom.

Cheers.

Yes there is a TomTom connector but only for the old style. If you have the Rider 400 as I do then you need to cut off the connector and solder the proper one in in its place, a bit of heat shrink insulation completes the job. The connector is buried quite deep in the wiring under the dash so you have to search for it.

According to the Guzzi forum the femail to this is unavailable, its a custom part for Merc/Porch/BMW so just cut it off. How TomTom get theirs heaven knows!
