Hi Guys ,

really hope you can help I am looking to buy a Tuono Factory its on an 08 plate but with blue wheels ( early color ?)

on the DVLA site its comes up as 06 registered 1 march 2008 it seems to be really good condition 12k on the clock with service history the only thing is it has graffix all over ( see attached ) is this something that was got from Aprilia ie genuine grafiix ? or just aftermarket .

the seat is also black and I thought is should be red ? there as signs of tie down marks on the handle bars ,only very slight but im thinking perhaps used track days ? or just me being paranoid ? there is also a crack on one of the headlights I think without wanting to sound stupid can you still get these ?

really appreciate your help bearing in mind I'm a newbie to the site many thanks

Hi Jerry, the 06/ 07 models had the blue wheels and sorta yuch coloured frame.

Easist way to tell is go to the 10th vin number, that's the year it was manufactured.

08 models have gold wheels and a different colour of gold frame and you're correct about the seat being red (I think) anyhoo it looks like a nice machine but you should check that the Brown connector and stator are ok.

Hi Aldo thank you for the reply , not familiar with the brown connector or stator to be honest , where are they located on the bike please ?

Jerry the stator is the big round thing on the left of the engine the produces the electrical power. The brown connector is on the right side, it's the connection that joints the power cables from.the stator to the rectifier.
The connector can get very hot because the original stator produces to much power.
It's well worth a look before buying the bike, replacing can be costly.
