Tuono seat options

Hi All,

having some problems reaching the ground here - does anyone know of a supplier of alternate seats to fit the 2016 Tuono as I'm thinking there may be options out there to lower the height by having my existing one sculpted or if a manufacturer exists that offer something slimmer to allow me to reach the ground without wearing a pair of cuban heels !

Thanks ,
Steve

I'd look at something like Lust Racing lowering kits before butchering the seat. You can get them to lower the rear by 30 mm and by then dropping the forks through the yokes by a corresponding amount levels the bike.
My mate had them on a triumph tiger and they worked well.

I'm sure they did , but both garages which I took the bike to said that messing around with the suspension dramatically as in lowering kits are the last resort as they always have an impact elsewhere on the bike, e.g stand becomes too long , handling is compromised , ground clearance, travel etc .

Google "motorbike seat lowering uk" and you will find several companies that provide that exact service.

They will take your seat base and either sculpture the existing foam, or better, use a new foam and build seat to your spec, including lowering.

Existing seat is quite hard, so just removing some foam will make it worse! So using a gell, or a better foam, base will be important if comfort is important to you.

You might want to but a spare seat though, for when you come to sell the bike again.
