Man that spondon is a thing of beauty, what motor are you putting in it? I would so so so so so so love a spondon!!

this is the engine for the spondon

1200 bandit engine, new shells, cam chain, re ground valves and fully stripped and powder coated, spondon frames are no longer available as they went out of business but gav at Motorcycle Frame Builders Nottingham | Bespoke Frame Builders | Aluminium Fabrication Nottingham has taken on the mantle of framebuilding, hes a 20 veteran of spondon, his frames are even more beautiful than spondon's! they have a hint of martek about them
thanks for allthe kind comments

thanks bud, got a way to go yet but enthusiam levels are on the up!! thinking of fitting clip ons rather than straight bars, make it look a bit racier, be uncomfortable as buggery but will look nice :)
this time i will fit a nose fairing and a belly pan and the current plan is to paint it in the martini racing colours ala William F1.

Looking forward to the rest of the build.

Don't suppose you want to do a write up / diary as you go along to satisfy our cravings for all thing two wheeled and sexual

yes m8 no problem, the next step is a visit to gav at G.I.A. ENGINEERING to get the old subframe modified to support the new seat and to make brackets for the rather lush curved oil coolers.
the head will need to come off (again!) as the oil return pipe is leaking already before its been pressurised. im hoping its just the o ring.
then fit the engine ( 3 bolts!!) and see if the 750 headers fit the 1200, i already think they will be to short but its worth a look and take the new wiring loom and hack flippin great lumps out of it:)
