Just joined the site today. Although I don't yet have a Tuono in my garage (it's currently occupied by my 2002 Kawasaki Concours), I've got my eye on a sweet 2007 Tuono R. Went to look at it this last weekend with my buddy, and it was pretty much immaculate (13,000 miles), with a few tasteful add-ons.

I've lusted after one of these bikes since I first saw one, back when I owned a Ducati 900SS and then a Duc ST-2. Something about the sound of a big booming Italian V-twin always gets my blood pumping. Anyway, I'm very close to pulling the trigger on this bike. The only thing holding me back is the Concours. She's been such an obedient, practical (with the hard saddlebags) and trouble-free mistress, I'm not sure that I'm ready to part with her. The COG website members are A-1 in my book, always ready to help out with a boatload of great information, mixed with a good dose of humor thrown in to keep things light-hearted.

But after reading some of the posts one this Tuono Forum, I'm convinced that I'll have a similarly good time chatting with you folks. I'll let you know if I buy the 2007. If I could find some practical saddlebags for it, the Tuono would already be in my hands now!

Welcome to the forum
Saddlebags on a T? Thats like eating a steak with chopsticks. :lol
I'm sure you'd ave lads of fun on the bike - good luck

Welcome D, go for it yer wont regret it. :thumbup

Go for it mucker,if you don't like it go back to what you do like. Life is short, take risks

Welcome, get yer wallet out and get that Italian beauty in your garage now...

Get a renntec rack. I've had all kinds of ***** on the back of mine:Wives, wine crates, camping tables, tents, drivers of broken down bikes . And for touring that lovely throbing thrusting v twin makes it a breeze. Soft luggage is ok. Try it, you might like it :cheers

I slap these one when traveling, along with a backpack. (I'm not much for tank or tail bags) Slips under my rear cowl.
